When upgrading from an OEM to an SBC high-output alternator, you should upgrade the positive and negative (ground) cables to handle the increased current.

The SBC-F24V-150 is a direct bolt on high output 24V alternator for the primary location on the Ford 6.7L Powerstroke engine.

Available with internal or external regulation

This SBC heavy-duty 24 volt alternator generates a maximum of 151 Amps at normal driving speeds and produces 98 Amps at idle. It features a larger housing compared to the OEM 12 volt alternator while still retaining OEM fitment.

The alternator housing is precision machined from Aircraft Certified 6061 aluminum while the pulley is made from Aircraft Grade 7075 aluminum for strength and durability.

 

Only fits 2017-2023 F250-600 Super Duty with a build date of Dec 31, 2022 or prior.
