Nissan AIC 842

The Advanced Idle Controller (AIC) provides the driver with nine (9) driving modes:

1. High Idle Mode: increases the engine RPM for better charging capabilities and improved AC performance.
2. Factory Mode: returns your vehicle’s accelerator response parameters to their stock settings.
3. Boost Mode: maximize the accelerator response across all pedal positions.
4. ECO Mode: minimizes accelerator response to improve fuel consumption.
5. Intelligent Mode: intelligently calibrates the accelerator based on the driving style.
6. Sand & Mud Mode: Advanced accelerator response mapping designed to upgrade the vehicle’s performance when encountering off-road sand & mud conditions.
7. Crawl Mode: minimizes the accelerator opening to help unwanted wheel spin whilst tackling ruts and hill climbs.
8. Towing Mode: Retains normal functionality for low accelerator for keeping up with regular traffic, but gives a bigger boost at higher accelerator position, making overtaking or compensating for steeper hills easier to contend with.
9. Lock Mode: disables all accelerator functions for anti-theft purposes.
