270 Amp – Toyota 1FZ-FE

The available OEM alternators for the 1FZ-FE (4.5L gasoline) engine are rated up to 80 Amps and only produce 60 Amps at idle. This SBC heavy-duty alternator generates a maximum of 270 Amps at normal driving speeds and produces 200 Amps at idle. With this alternator, you are gaining 140 Amps at idle and up to 190 Amps at cruising speeds.

The XP series of SBC alternators are assembled using DENSO components and produce the highest idle output. They feature a larger housing while still retaining OEM fitment without any modification required. They run cooler and are virtually indestructible. This alternator is designed to be an exact replacement to the OEM alternator for the 1FZ-FE engine. A precision CNC 6061T6 aluminum pulley with a .002 hard anodized coating is installed on each alternator for maximum output and durability.
