The SBC-DGM5.3V2-300 was designed from the ground up as an extreme duty system for military and other high draw applications. It is manufactured in the US using components and materials from the US and Japan.
The SBC-DGM5.3V2-300 is a multi-alternator kit for the new model 5.3L EcoTec3 engine found in GMC and Chevy trucks and SUVs. It adds an SBC-D24V-300 alternator to the existing system adding a total of 300 Amps @ 24 Volts. The OEM 12 Volt system can be left as is or be upgraded to an SBC high output unit.
Available with external regulation for use with lithium-ion batteries
