GM L84 & L87

Stretch-fit belts are intended for use only once to drive a single component. A stretch-fit belt requires a special tool for installation, and once installed, it cannot be adjusted. These limitations and the need to add components, such as a secondary alternator or AC compressor, will mandate the use of a traditional serpentine belt.

The SBC-GML84/87 is a complete kit that includes the components needed for the conversion, including a belt tensioner, a heavy-duty belt, all needed mounting hardware, and a detailed pictorial installation guide.
